The Crusoe Cruise: embark Durgan Village 1600 for foraging cruise to Parsons Beach. Wild camp and feast, return 0900. £200 including foraging gear and food. It is a little know fact that Crusoe did in fact eat lobster at least twice a week.
The Fal Cruise: few visit the River Fal proper which takes the explorer up to Ruan Lanihorne. Bordered by the Tregothnan Estate there are no public footpaths. Embark King Harry Ferry at low water in the afternoon, return on the ebb mid evening. Includes food at a secret bivvy. £100
Summer Soltice - June 21: Embark 1700 Durgan Village, cruise to Rosemullion Head and back to Grebe Beach for bbq. Low water is at 2000. £150
Wildlife Law - a three day introduction to Wild Law as it impacts on conservation management. I would need to discuss with yoiu in detail well in advance to identify suitable locations. The objective woudl be to treat the boat as a floating library/observatory/kitchen/classroom visiting a variety of sites. Accommodation can be wild camping, local campsite or B and B. I have a one bedroom flat available overlooking Falmouth Harbour.
2 Days - explore the Helford Estuary using a base at Tremayne Quay and embarkation from Helford Passage. The boat will carry extensive fishing and foraging equipment to supplement stores at base camp. £400 including tents and basic food.
2 Days - Introduction to Natura 2000. The Fal and Helford are designated a Special Area of Conservation. Rory is on the Board of the Advisory Group and will explain in detail how management of the site is achieved. Embarkation as required and subject to weather. £300
